Angel Baker, Founder and President of The Dream Builder’s Foundation, began her commitment to serving others at a very young age. She was trained at an early age by her father, Paul Baker, owner of Baker's School of Music, in Warsaw, NC.

With hopes of expanding her efforts, she has placed priority on education. Angel has obtained a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts at North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, a Master of Science degree with a Human Services Specialization at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, and finally, a graduate certificate in Management and Leadership through Liberty University as well.

With her education and experience, she has serviced ministries, aspiring artist, and schools, in building their music programs and aspirations. She is known for her ability to bring structure and to establish a working, productive infrastructure within organizations. She is a writer, psalmist, entrepreneur and an educator. Over the years, she has served as minister of music, youth leader, music teacher, vocal coach, and children's ministry coordinator & worship & arts director for The Potter's House North Dallas. She currently serves as an Adult Basic Education Instructor at James Sprunt Community College in Kenansville, NC.

After college, Angel became earnestly interested in finding ways to impact the rural community that she was residing in. Resources in that area were not always available, so she pursued her passion for helping others. In 2004, she began The Dream Builder’s Foundation, which would serve as a holistic enrichment program for individuals within the community. At that time, her target was mentoring small business owners. She and her former husband and business partner began a business networking program that offered assistance with leadership, organizational training, financial planning and credit management, business coaching, and real estate. .The foundation began offering seminars as well as private coaching for it's clients. Through this service, some clients were inspired to launch and re-structure small businesses, work towards credit repair, and others went on to purchase homes for the first time. Lord willing, In 2026-2027, Angel will earn her Doctor of Education Degree from Liberty University.

Angel has a dream of developing family life centers all over. She expects to partner with other community based organizations and corporate organizations who are driven to facilitate change in the world. In the years to come, it is her hope that both the Foundation and Institute will train and employ consultants and community leaders. At the core of her service is a desire to live a purposeful life as well as to leave a legacy for her 3 girls, whom she loves dearly. For the woman who just wants a better life, she understands the role of both at home mother as well as that of the working mother. For the man, she understands the need to excel and to build something that will secure your family’s future. She is grateful and is humbled by her experiences and through them, she has become more and more determined to build a better life for herself and for her children. She believes that the greatest reward lies in living the purpose God has ordained for you. Thus, she is committed to service and the foundation allows her to assist with bringing the dreams of others to reality.
